- Ganoderma lucidum fruiting-body granules
- Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) fruiting-body extract
The previous formula included Cordyceps. In the new formula, Cordyceps has been replaced with Lion’s Mane. Ganoderma remains. The tea remains. And the simple ritual of preparing your cup remains.
The difference is in the blend—one thoughtful change that gives a familiar favourite a fresh identity.
But Why Lion’s Mane?

Every ingredient in the new formula has a role to play in creating the finished blend.
The foundation is oxidised Camellia sinensis tea leaves.
Tea is one of the world’s most enduring rituals. We drink it in the morning, in the afternoon, after meals, during conversations and in those quiet moments when we simply want something warm in our hands.
In Red Tea, the tea leaves provide the familiar starting point for the experience. The new formula contains 1.2 g of tea leaves in every 2 g tea bag.
Then Comes Ganoderma
For ORGANO customers, Ganoderma is perhaps the most familiar part of the story.
Ganoderma has been part of the ORGANO product experience for years, and it remains an important part of the new Red Tea formula.
The new blend uses Ganoderma lucidum fruiting-body granules, with 600 mg in every 2 g tea bag. So although Red Tea is evolving, one important part of its ORGANO identity remains.
And Now, Lion’s Mane
The newest member of the blend is Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus).
But there is an important detail worth knowing.
The Lion’s Mane used in ORGANO Red Tea comes exclusively from the fruiting body of the mushroom.
It is used as an extract – not granules or mycelium.
The extract is produced through water-based extraction processes, and every 2 g tea bag contains 200 mg of Lion’s Mane fruiting-body extract. This attention to the ingredient itself is part of what makes the new formula distinctive.
