The Evolution of ORGANO Red Tea

There are few things as simple – or as comforting – as a good cup of tea.

Tea has a way of becoming part of the rhythm of our lives. It can be the quiet cup that starts the morning, the afternoon pause between everything on the day’s agenda, the pot placed in the middle of the table when friends come over, or the warm cup we reach for when the day finally begins to slow down.

In Europe, tea time can mean many different things.

It can be a traditional afternoon ritual, a quick cup enjoyed between meetings, a leisurely weekend moment, or simply a personal habit that makes an ordinary day feel a little more special.

The beauty of tea is that there is no single right way to enjoy it.

And that is part of what makes it such a wonderful ritual.

A Tea Ritual Is More Than What’s in the Cup

Tea is about the experience as much as the infusion itself.

It is the few minutes spent waiting for the water to heat and the leaves to release their character. It is the familiar cup you reach for each morning. It is conversation around a table. It is a moment to pause, reset and simply enjoy something warm.

At ORGANO, we believe the ingredients we put into that cup matter, too.

That is why we are always looking for thoughtful ways to refine our products and create tea experiences that feel both familiar and worth discovering.

And now, one of our favourites is entering a new chapter.

Red Tea is evolving.

A Familiar Favourite, Thoughtfully Reimagined

For years, ORGANO Red Tea has brought together tea, Ganoderma and Cordyceps in a simple, convenient tea ritual.

Now, we are introducing a new formula.

The familiar combination of Red Tea and Ganoderma lucidum now welcomes Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus).

Cordyceps is being replaced with Lion’s Mane, while Ganoderma remains an important part of the blend.

The new formula brings together three carefully selected ingredients:

  • Oxidised Camellia sinensis tea leaves
  • Ganoderma lucidum fruiting-body granules
  • Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) fruiting-body extract

It is a thoughtful evolution of a familiar favourite—one designed to bring something new to a ritual you already know and enjoy.

Why Change Something People Already Love?

Because good things can still be improved.

At ORGANO, we don’t believe that evolving a product means losing what made it special in the first place. Sometimes, it means looking at the ingredients again.

It means asking what we can bring to the experience. It means exploring new ingredients, new possibilities and new ways to create products that reflect the standards we want to deliver to our customers.

With the new Red Tea, that means introducing Lion’s Mane into a blend that already has a strong ORGANO identity.

The tea remains. Ganoderma remains. The simplicity remains.

But there is now something new to discover.

Three Ingredients. One Distinctive Cup.

The new formula combines three certified organic ingredients, each bringing something distinctive to the blend.

Tea Leaves: The Heart of the Ritual

The tea component is made from oxidised leaves of Camellia sinensis, the botanical tea plant behind many of the world’s traditional teas.

Tea has been part of daily rituals across cultures for centuries. From a morning cup to afternoon tea, from a shared pot to a quiet moment alone, it is one of the world’s most enduring ways to create a pause in the day.

ORGANO Red Tea begins with that familiar ritual—and gives it a distinctive ORGANO character.

Ganoderma: An ORGANO Favourite

Ganoderma lucidum has long been part of the ORGANO story.

In the new formula, we continue that tradition with Ganoderma lucidum fruiting-body granules, with 600 mg in every 2 g tea bag.

Its inclusion keeps an important connection to the Red Tea that existing ORGANO customers already know.

Lion’s Mane: Something New to Discover

Then comes Lion’s Mane.

Known scientifically as Hericium erinaceus, this distinctive mushroom is recognised for its unusual white, cascading fruiting body.

It has a long culinary history, particularly in East Asian traditions, and has become an increasingly interesting ingredient in modern food and beverage culture.

In the new ORGANO Red Tea, Lion’s Mane is used as a fruiting-body extract, with 200 mg in every tea bag.

It is a new ingredient for Red Tea—and an intriguing one to discover.

Quality Begins With the Ingredients

We believe a better tea experience starts with paying attention to what goes into the cup.

The new Red Tea is made with three certified organic ingredients:

Certified organic oxidised tea leaves.
Certified organic Ganoderma lucidum fruiting-body granules.
Certified organic Lion’s Mane fruiting-body extract.

For ORGANO, this is more than a statement on a package.

It reflects the importance we place on ingredient selection and the standards we strive to maintain across our products.

Choosing certified organic ingredients is one way we can be more deliberate about the raw materials that become part of an ORGANO product.

Because when you are creating something that people make part of their everyday ritual, the details matter.

The Ritual Stays Simple

As the formula evolves, enjoying your Red Tea remains wonderfully uncomplicated.

Place one tea bag in hot water and allow it to infuse for approximately three to five minutes.

Then make the moment your own.

Enjoy it quietly before the day begins.

Pour a cup during an afternoon break.

Share it with someone.

Or simply let tea time be tea time—a few minutes that belong to you.

A New Chapter Is About to Begin

A familiar ritual doesn’t always need a dramatic change.

Sometimes, it simply needs something new to discover.

The new ORGANO Red Tea brings together the tea tradition we know and love, the Ganoderma that has become part of the ORGANO experience, and Lion’s Mane as a new ingredient to explore.

The same simple ritual. A new blend to experience.

Because we believe your everyday cup of tea can be more than something you simply drink.

It can be a moment.

A pause.

A ritual.

And sometimes, a little discovery.

Can something so good be even better?

Yes, it can.
