✓Known as ‘King of Herbs’
✓ Grown in the Wuyi Mountains

KEY INGREDIENTS

Organic Ganoderma lucidum – the “King of Herbs”. There are different components of the Ganoderma mushroom: the spores (seeds ready to pollinate), the Mycellium (early harvest) and the lucidum (the mature plant). The Ganoderma lucidum is harvested at its peak of maturity, around 8 months of age.

DID YOU KNOW?

Ganoderma lucidum is a large, dark mushroom with a glossy exterior and woody texture. The Latin word lucidus means “shiny” or “brilliant” and refers to the varnished appearance of the surface of the mushroom. In China, G. lucidum is called lingzhi, whereas in Japan the name for the Ganodermataceae family is reishi or mannentake. This mushroom has been used for over 2000 years and was documented in ancient scripts.

The mushrooms are unique in that they grow on wood, mostly out of large trees (living or dead) in forests in the more tropical regions of Asia. Their long brown stems and orange-coloured caps make them a spectacular sight, but in the wild they can be hard to see because they thrive in such heavily forested areas. At ORGANO™, we source only the finest quality Ganoderma, grown undisturbed on logs high in the Wuyi Mountains of China’s Fuzhou region.

ORGANO™ is the only North American company who has partnered with the largest certified organic Ganoderma plantation in the world to bring this “treasure of life” to the Western world. In 2009, ORGANO™ and its partners celebrated the groundbreaking of their $240 million Gano Herb Industrial Park, the largest of its kind in the world.

HOW TO USE IT

Take 2 capsules, 3 times a day.

Ganoderma Lucidum Mycelium

With only a harvest time of 21 days, OG’s Mycelium has the shortest life cycle before being collected, which is why Shane Morand refers to it as the ‘baby’ of the three types of Ganoderma.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Mycellium – is the name of the early harvest or ‘baby’ Ganoderma lucidum. There are different components of the Ganoderma mushroom – the spores (seeds ready to pollinate), the Mycellium (early harvest) and the lucidum (the mature plant). Mycellium threads are the root-like body that produces mushrooms, resembling a network or web of activity.

DID YOU KNOW?

The mycelium is the most important and permanent part of a fungus. The part of the mushroom that we see is only the “fruit” of the organism. The living body of the fungus is a mycelium made out of a web of tiny filaments called hyphae. The mycelium is usually hidden in the soil, in wood, or another food source. The mycelia network that emanates from a fungal spore can extend over and into the soil in search of nutrients. A mycelium can be tiny, or cover large spaces of land in search of nutrients to feed the flowering of the mushroom.

HOW TO USE IT

Take 2 capsules, 3 times a day.

Organic Spore Powder

Spores can only be obtained during Ganoderma’s natural lifecycle and cannot be replicated through artificial growing methods. Since Organo Gold naturally grows its Ganoderma instead of using plastic bags, we are the only Network Marketing Company in the world with the capability of producing Spores. As these Spores develop they look like fine baby powder which is collected by hand using a brush. To visualize how difficult Spores are to collect, it takes 1,000kg of collection to make 1kg of Spores.

✓ The pinnacle of Ganoderma’s potency

KEY INGREDIENTS

Organic Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder – Ganoderma Spores are the seeds of the Ganoderma lucidum.

The fruit body of the fungi matures after 5-7 months to release numerous ganoderma spores through minuscule pores present at its base. There are different components of the Ganoderma mushroom – the spores (seeds ready to pollinate), the Mycellium (early harvest,) and the lucidum (the mature plant).

DID YOU KNOW?

Ganoderma spores are expensive in part because harvesting them has to be timed just right – and because how the spores are ‘opened’ can impact the quality.

A ganoderma lucidum takes about 5-7 months to mature. When it does, it will release spores in a most amazing array of nature. The spores are released from the underside of the mushroom and cover the entire mushroom within a few minutes. Within a few hours the entire micro-environment is covered by spores. It takes almost 900 kg of spores to make 1 kg of spore powder.
